The poster presents how the Exodus method can be used to obtain the impulse response functions and thereby model the heat transfer through the opaque building components. By modeling the opaque components as linear time invariant system and introducing impulse response function one can determine the temperature at any point inside the wall. Although the point can be selected arbitrarily, the performed simulations were related to inner surface of the wall.
